Wol (월), the General Manager Wol (월 총관), the White Night Fiend (백야차 — 白夜叉), due to the passage of time, he had been forgotten by those who once knew him, a presence that had brought various storms to the world. Centuries Ago, before becoming the White Night Fiend and a Subordinate of Song Yoon-Cheon, he had worked in the Government Office.

Monstrous Deity[]

As a Monstrous Deity (괴력난신 — 怪力亂神), Wol was born naturally strong and had an innate understanding of how to use his body. Although some of his habitual movements might appear similar to herbivores to others, he had never formally practiced martial arts.

Before facing Song Yoon-Cheon, there was hardly anyone in the Yunnan Province who could stop him. Whether Human or a Monstrous Deity, none could withstand him. From the self-proclaimed Six Supremes Under Heaven (천하육절 — 天下六絶) to a formidable creature like a bear with a size comparable to a house, all dared to challenge him only to be defeated unilaterally. Before and after that, victories were as rare as counting on one's fingers.

As he battled Pung Jeon and it lasted longer than expected, Wol acknowledged that he had made a mistake in his judgment. Whether this fellow is exceptionally strong or the world has advanced to elevate the overall level of the martial world, he doesn't know.

Overview[]

Frankly speaking, it had been ages since he had faced persecution from anyone. Due to being among the ranks of the strong for so long, Wol rarely faced persecution from anyone. If he did, he would crush them immediately. And those targeted didn't include the Orthodox or Unorthodox Faction. They had to be at least a Martial Artist of The Strongests or a Monstrous Mighty Chaotic Deity to be worth considering. There was simply no situation where he would associate with those beneath his level.

Song Yoon-Cheon has always warned Wol two or three times before doing anything. There had been a couple of occasions when Wol didn't understand the concept of “moderation”. Of course, since staying in Wuhan, he hadn't caused any major trouble, but given Wol's colorful history, suspicion was inevitable. Honestly, initially, Song Yooncheon had taken Wol along to reform him after numerous incidents.

Past[]

Forgetting as time passes is natural. However, an extremely vivid memory, whether liked or disliked, is not easily forgotten. Sometimes, no matter how much time passes, it remains as clear as if it had just happened. Perhaps until the day when Wol meets his end, the most vivid memory he'll have is this fateful night.

In the distant past, when he was notorious as the White Night Fiend, Song Yoon-Cheon confronted him and spoke these words. "You're rampaging without any sense of discernment; there's truly no one like you in the heavens and earth." Song Yooncheon calmly delivered a sharp rebuke. The problem was that this wasn't just once or twice, not even for a day or two.

Fifteen years. For a long fifteen years, Song Yooncheon followed Wol, not killing him but inflicting more pain by striking his forehead than death would bring. Of course, Wol didn't just endure it. He risked his life to rebel, even begged to the point of becoming submissive. He pretended to repent, attempted to escape in all directions, across oceans, but it was like being in the palm of Buddha's hand.

In the end, only when Wol sincerely acknowledged his mistakes, bowed his head in remorse, could he be liberated from the constraints of the sharp rebukes. It's strange, isn't it? The memories that were once detested to the point of death are now just a thread of reminiscence. Is this why they say there's nothing scarier than time? Well, he wouldn't want to go through it again...

Relationships[]

Ma Seok-Dong[]

  • Looking at that massive muscle mass of Ma Seok-Dong, memories of the journey to the Western Regions with Song Yoon-Cheon suddenly came to Wol's mind. Interestingly, in the Western Regions, they were not called Martial Artists but Knights. They covered their entire bodies in thick armor and mainly wielded thick, giant swords or spears. Lion King, the best swordsman in the Western Regions. Of course, whether it was the best swordsman or the Lion King, it didn't impress Song Yooncheon at all. Though he managed to endure a full day as the tyrant of a certain region, eventually succumbing to exhaustion, Wol wondered how long that Ma Seok-Dong would hold out.

Method[]

Crushing his opponents, has an objective to go beyond the point where the body crumbled and fully subjugate their minds. To a degree where they wouldn't entertain any futile thoughts. He will continue to deliver precise blows, causing unbearable pain, terrifying more than death itself. Yet, they wouldn't die. The torment would be etched into their bones, perfectly intact until their death. This was the aesthetic of "Ttakbam — 딱밤", a method handed down from Song Yoon-Cheon.
