Overview[]

Mount Hua Sect (화산파 — 華山派), is a member of the Nine Great Sects & One Union, and considered one of the top sects, only under Wudang Sect and the Shaolin Temple.

Bodhidharma has opened the Shaolin Temple. Jang Sam-Bong, who cultivated the Dao on the Mount Hua, opened the Wudang Mountain's Sect. Jang Sambong left behind the Taichi Wisdom Sword and the Ten-Levels Swords, known as divine arts. Similarly, Bodhidharma also left behind the Yeokgeun Sutra and the Invincible Vajra Buddhist Body Divine Technique, as well as the Hundred Steps Divine Fist.

However, unlike the long history boasted by Shaolin and Wudang, there are no significant records in the Mount Hua. Only records remain that someone in the Mount Hua left behind the Self-Enlightenment Divine Technique and the Twenty-Four Plum Blossom Swords.

Some say the records were lost throughout the history, while others claim they were incomplete from the beginning. It was all just a common legend, claiming that the Geopajosa received teachings from an Immortal who came from the far west. While it could be dismissed as nonsense, the existence of the Self-Enlightenment Divine Technique prevented such talk.

The martial arts that surpassed all others were so few that they could be counted on one's hands, proving their unparalleled excellence beyond human comprehension, just like something left behind by a god.

Now, with time passing, there was no one eager to illuminate the forgotten history of the Mount Hua Sect and debate about it. However, it was not entirely forgotten. In the world, only one, and sometimes two, occasionally shared the truth like a legend under the name of Self-Enlightenment Divine Technique, passing it down together.

Techniques[]

Self-Enlightenment Divine Technique (자하신공 — 自下神功)[]

  • Ultimate Technique of Mount Hua Sect.
  • It was a martial art based on the Profound Qi (현기 — 玄機). Both the Buddhism meditation like Shaolin Templeand Emei Sect, and the Taoism meditation like Mount Hua Sect, Wudang Sect, and Kunlun Sect have one thing in common. They possess the nature of “Resisting Demons” (抗魔). Therefore, they displayed strengths against magic and sorcery, naturally including Ju Hwa Ipma. Of course, just because they possess the nature of resisting demons doesn't mean they're completely immune to Walking into the Demon's Fire. But they can resist the Walking into the Demon's Fire.

Twenty-Four Plum Blossom Swords (이십사매화검 — 二十四梅花劍)[]

Mount Hua's Six Harmonies Sword (화산육합검 — 華山六合劍)[]

  • The Six Harmonies Sword (六合劍 — 육합검), also known as the Sword of Six Elements or the Equilibrium Sword, serves as the cornerstone for all future sword techniques within Mount Hua's martial tradition. As the initial technique taught in the sect, it establishes the fundamental principles that underpin subsequent skills and serves as a crucial foundation.
