Yin-Yang Unified Technique (음양일원공 — 陰陽一元功)[]

  • No mention of the commonly associated terms like Divine (神), Heavenly (天), Dragon (龍), or Limitless (無極). Judging solely by the name, this martial art, stored in the infamous Mu Haksa of Hwayang Yeonhwa, seemed rather ordinary. It's a martial art that has never succeeded once. There are records here, stating that a total of ninety-seven practitioners died during training. "If the subjects were humans, failure was inevitable". That was the theory behind it. This martial art was never meant for human practice in the first place. Nor was it intended for a Monstrous Deity's practice. "Unless it was half human, half monstrous deity".

Notebook[]

It was somewhat poorly written, with densely packed small characters, making it hard to read. It contained snippets from the diary and notes of Jeagal Yu, along with other records, all jumbled together in short sentences. The most frequent expressions in the notebook, which contained Jegal Yu's life, were about theory, probability, efficiency, and the like.

  • In theory, any trait shared by all living beings becomes negligible after six generations.
  • Therefore, the difference between direct descendants and collateral relatives is very slight or nonexistent.
  • In Theory, the Jeagal Prestigious Family is nothing more than a microcosm created to make direct descendants special.
  • We assume that the pinnacle marks the point at which one evaluates whether there is innate talent or genius in martial arts.
  • In the same generation, all direct and collateral descendants except for me are judged to be rubbish.
  • However, direct descendants regard collateral descendants as lowly slaves and do not seek to share their techniques.
  • In theory, the self-isolated Jeagal family is in decline, and there is a high probability of elimination in future generations.
  • The surname 'Jeagal' acts like a tag, preventing anyone from taking me as a disciple or teaching me martial arts.
  • Creating martial arts from scratch is more efficient than acquiring and altering other martial arts.
  • In theory, if one can wield both swordsmanship and martial arts simultaneously, strengths are maximized while weaknesses are neutralized.
  • I realized that martial arts existing only in theory are dead martial arts.
  • To advance martial arts, one must ultimately aim for the ultimate goal: murder.
  • Today marks the exact end of a test spanning a thousand times. Efforts were made to improve incomplete martial arts, and progress has been made to a certain extent.
  • In theory, to excel in my martial arts, I need a minimum of martial arts skill equivalent to at least five generations.
  • The probability of unilaterally securing elixirs and elixir ingredients held by existing powers is extremely low.
  • Recently, the last survivor of the notorious Sama Clan, Sama Seong, approached me.
  • He offered to provide elixirs and elixir ingredients if I join his plan.
  • After weighing the options, I accepted.
  • It's a deal that brings me significant benefits beyond simply providing my time and effort.
  • Sama Seong died and appeared in the body of the Supreme Ultimate, Sage Cheong Woon. I studied this phenomenon of possession, but it doesn't make sense in theory.
  • In terms of probability, it is right to be cautious about the possibility of death for the time being.

At the end of this sentence, Jeagal Yoo was betrayed by the Heavenly Killing Star and died.
