Martial Realms[]
Realm | Aliases | Levels | Details |
---|---|---|---|
Third Class | - | - | There's a saying that it all begins from the Second Rate. The realm of the Third Class is vast, and within it, there are many who, despite reaching the Third Class, cannot be truly called martial artists. Even if one practices only the Third Class Heart Technique for the sake of health, they remain at the Third Class.
Having only embarrassing minor skills, smaller than grains of sand and unworthy of being called inner strength, also keeps one at the Third Class. Those who awkwardly swing a sword a few times without even being worthy of the title of swordsmanship are also Third Class. Hence, after entering the path of martial arts, it takes a short or long period, ranging from a few years to even ten, to arduously reach the Second Class after initially entering the martial path. Only then, in the truest sense, are they called martial artists (武人). |
Second Class | - | - | Martial artists in this realm possess several years of training and experience.
They have acquired a solid grasp of the fundamentals of internal energy manipulation. Proficiency in weaponry and combat techniques is a key characteristic of this stage. Typically, Second-Rate Warriors can lead squads of 10-12 third-Class trainees during battles, showcasing their leadership and expertise in group combat scenarios. |
First Class (일류 — 一流) |

- | Even martial artists with limited talent can attain this level through dedicated practice and time.

Peak (절정 — 绝顶) |
Supreme Apex Pinnacle Ultimate Peak |
- | Achieving this realm requires innate talent and dedication.
There is a significant qualitative gap between a Peak Martial Artist and a First-Rate Warrior. Peak Martial Artists possess sword-body unison and can freely manifest weapon qi, commonly known as "Sword Qi — 검기". They are often referred to as “Martial Masters” or “Experts” due to their exceptional skills and abilities. |
Transcendence (초절정 — 超绝顶) |
Surpass Peak Transcendent Pinnacle Beyond Ultimate Peak |
- | it is referred to as the "Wall of Martial's End". Martial arts are about constantly deepening, so there's no need to distinguish between First Class or Peak. However, there existed an absolute limit that everyone faced. People called this limit the "Wall of Martial's End" and found it perplexing. Those who break through the Wall of Martial Endings and advance to a new realm are extremely rare. |
Unrestrained Realm (화경 — 化境) |
Transformation Realm Flower Realm |
- | They develop immunity to poisons and extreme temperatures, showcasing unparalleled resistance. These martial artists can effortlessly manipulate sword (weapon) force and perform sword (weapon) telekinesis, making them formidable masters of their chosen weapon.
Typically, those in the Unrestrained Realm are considered the greatest martial artists of their time in the central plains. They are virtually unbeatable in numerical combat unless facing an opponent of the same realm. |
Peak | This is the realm which reached by the Nine Stars, Seven Evils, & the Seven Demons. | ||
Edge | This is the realm which reached by the likes of Wol, Seol Hwa... Between this level and the peak-level the difference is huge. | ||
Profound Realm (현경 — 玄境 or 炫境) |
Bright Realm Pragmatism Realm Mythics Realm |
- |
Martial artists in this realm stand on the cusp of transformation. Often serving as a precursor to the life-and-death realm, it marks a pivotal stage in their journey. They possess absolute mastery over sword (weapon) force, and some can even execute Mind Sword (sudden sword attacks driven by thought alone). Martial artists in this realm abandon rigid martial principles, freely expressing their moves as guided by their hearts, akin to the Buddhist concept of abandoning the boat after crossing the river. |
