Cheong Woon (청운), the Supreme Ultimate (태극 — 太極) or the Supreme Ultimate Sword Saint (태극검성 — 太極劍聖), One of the Nine Stars as One of the Three Great Sword Saints alongside the Azure Heaven Sword Saint and the Plum Blossom Sword Saint. He is the Supreme Elder of the Wudang Sect, one of the Nine Great Sects & One Union.
Heavenly Killing Star[]
Among the righteous sects, especially those considered prestigious, the impression of being knowledgeable is often evoked. Of course, they have their own rhetoric: preserving ancient traditions and whatnot. They must uphold the honorable legacy of their ancestors, who sacrificed their lives through blood and sweat to ascend to greatness.... The Nine Great Sects & One Union and the Five Great Clans didn't stray far from such fixed notions, and neither did the Wudang Sect. Not long ago, the Murim Lord personally requested the Wudang Sect's summons of the Supreme Ultimate — Sage Cheong Woon. However, the Wudang Sect politely declined, stating that the Sage Cheong Woon was currently in secluded cultivation. Secluded cultivation was a matter only the individual could undertake, so the Murim Lord acquiesced without much resistance. However, this was merely an excuse. Within the Wudang Sect, only the Sect Master knew the truth: the Sage Cheong Woon had disappeared...
For the past few years, the whereabouts of the Sage Cheong Woon, whose life or death remained unknown, were known only to Sect Master. Solidarity residing in the secluded mountain of Yeosan of Shaanxi, he was inaccessible. The intentions were noble. It was thought that by relaxing in the famous hot springs since the time of Qin Shi Emperor, one might find enlightenment. Also, it was an attempt to break free from the familiar environment of Wudang Mountain and the burdensome ties of the Wudang Sect... But, as always, intentions don't necessarily lead to good outcomes.
Engrossed in deep meditation, the Sage Cheong Woon was suddenly struck by a severe headache. Fortunately, it was a familiar sensation for Cheong Woon, who had experienced and overcome countless trials before. Moreover, it didn't seem like it would pose a significant problem as long as he calmly dealt with it. The real issue arose from the voice echoing in the Sage Cheong Woon's mind, induced by the severe headache.
- "Submit to me."
A terrifying voice that persisted relentlessly, even if he blocked his ears or banged his head against the ground.
- "Submit to me."
A fierce struggle ensued. Although no sword was drawn and no physical pressure exerted, the voice sought to dominate Cheong Woon, while Cheong Woon strove to resist it. Eventually, the Sage Cheong Woon succumbed to the voice induced by the headache. Cheong Woon's body, now embracing a new consciousness, writhed in agony. It was the pain that arose from the strong mental resistance of Cheong Woon's identity until the very end. After a moment, the cries of agony gradually subsided, and he raised his head, tears of blood streaming down his face.
Still seeming unfamiliar with the new body, the Heavenly Killing Star moved cautiously, carefully exploring his surroundings. With slow, deliberate movements, he repeatedly clenched and unclenched his fists, smiling as if he were out of breath. However, his expression of joy was short-lived. Drawing upon the profound enlightenment gained over countless past lives, he began to refine his new body using his profound techniques. It was as if shedding old skin.
With a sound like cracking wood, his skin split, muscles tore, and bones fractured. The aged and worn-out meridians and essence of his body were also reborn anew. After repeating this process numerous times, the aged white-haired master disappeared completely, replaced by a youthful figure with black hair.
- "I have returned." — Heavenly Killing Star said.
He is no longer the Heavenly Killing Star — Sama Seong, but the Supreme Ultimate — Sage Cheong Woon.
- "Wait for me, Song Yoon-Cheon." — Heavenly Killing Star said.[1]

Stellar Absorption Grand Law (흡성대법 — 吸星大法)[]
- The Stellar Absorption Grand Law. Its origins remained shrouded, but one figure stood out in its association—the First Blood Demon who once founded the Blood Cult. The technique had once elevated him to the pinnacle of martial prowess.
- The Stellar Absorption Grand Law was a forbidden art that allowed the practitioner to absorb the opponent's Qi and internal energy, making them stronger. Its infamous reputation was well-known, even to those unrelated to the martial world.
- However, only a handful truly understood its intricacies. The technique wasn't flawless; it had clear weaknesses. It couldn't absorb energy weaker than what it previously absorbed, meaning it constantly needed stronger energies. And if one couldn't properly manage the energies absorbed, they risked exploding without feeling any pain.
- Hence, it earned the moniker "Explosive Death" or "Explosive Technique." The first Blood Demon was famous for mastering the Stellar Absorption Grand Law, unlike those who perished due to its flaws.
- Of course, it is said that even the first blood demon was killed by a hidden monster who suddenly appeared at the time... Moreover, the enigmatic figure dismantled not only the Blood Cult but also the Blood Demon himself, disappearing like the wind after leaving destruction in his wake.
- After the first Blood Demon died, the Blood Demon who succeeded as the leader also disappeared after the Blood Cult's collapse. Later, it was revealed that he joined the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult. The Blood Cutl disappeared, but the second Blood Demon survived alone and became a member of the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult. In other words, this Blood Demon Arts (혈마공) went to the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult.
- Since the first Blood Demon, there had been no notable instances of the Stellar Absorption Grand Law in action.
