Cheong Song (청송) or the Sage Cheong Song (청송 진인), and the Sect Master of the Wudang Sect, one of the Nine Great Sects & One Union.

Appearance[]

He has an appearance that could rival that of Ma Seok-Dong. His stature, covered in coarse robes and a cloak that barely concealed his muscles, suggested an imposing figure that wouldn't immediately be associated with a Taoist Master. If one were to imagine him in a different setting, perhaps not in the Wudang Mountains but in the foothills of another mountain, handing over an axe with his hands as big and thick as a cauldron lid, he might be better suited as a Bandit Leader.

Overview[]

Supreme Ultimate, the Sage Cheong Woon, and the Wadang Clan's Master, Sage Cheong Song, appeared to be of equal status in their Cheong (청 — 淸) lineage. However, excluding the fact that Cheong Woon was over a hundred years old, Cheong Song appeared much younger. This was because in the past, his master, recognizing his talent despite being a mere Inner Disciple, always welcomed him as the youngest disciple.

Cheong Woon's Death[]

Though his casual tone wasn't appreciated, what mattered now was the item placed on the table by the man sitting across from him. Interpreting the gesture as an invitation to inspect, he reached out. Unraveling the white cloth, a long wooden box, crafted from a single tree by Pung Jeon himself, was revealed. Carefully opening the box, he found a sight too familiar—a neatly arranged item he didn't wish to see: the Pine Pattern Ancient Sword. The Supreme Ultimate, the Sage Cheong Woon, never returned, and only his cherished sword returned through another person to the shaman.

Even when Cheong Woon departed from Mount Wudang, he had a sense of farewell to some extent. But now that the premonition had become reality, his heart grew heavy. Leaning back in his chair, Cheongsong Jinin turned his head to look out the window.

  • 'Is this also the will of the Primordial Heavenly Lord?'

In the distance, Cheonjubong, which usually appeared shrouded in mist, seemed unusually clear today. It was named Cheonju (Heavenly Pillar) to signify its role in supporting the sky, the highest peak in Mount Wudang. Leaving behind only a single sword and departing from Mount Wudang forever, Cheong Woon's dwelling was here. The once clear view of Cheonjubong gradually blurred. For the first time since bidding farewell to his master, Sage Cheong Song shed tears.
